The Story Boat

The Story Boat was created in the spring of 2012 for Redbridge Leisure. Commissioned via the House of Fairy Tales to create this boat on wheels for a journey across London to the revived Fairlop Fair at Fairlop Waters Country Park. It has been designed as a mobile story telling stage with two decks and a crow’s nest. Fabricated with a welded steel frame then clad in steamed Ash. There is a treasure chest inside the vessel that can be unpacked at each event.
